This is an old photo as it seems my computer has developed an appetite for crashing and taking strangely random chunks of data with it. I just lost all the photos I took in 2009 and no amount of restorative work has been able to recover them. Bummer. (Yes, a back-up drive is a good idea). The only images left from that whole year are those riding on the clouds of the blogosphere, which feels really odd. Anyway, back on earth, at least in this small part, spring has sprung and that is good.

What a show these guys put on! We went to see Stars (who were good) but Hey Rosetta stole the night and a small part of my heart, which has developed a mini-crush on the dark and lovely Tim Baker. The Orpheum didn't sound as good as usual but this band could play in a well and sound so passionate you wouldn't give a toss (sorry). Made me want to move to St Johns and take up the fiddle.

With no running and pasta dishes like this, I will soon be the size of a small zeppelin. Oh well, maybe I can take the aquafit with no float belt thing one step further and wear weights.
