Operation Napa is well underway and our long runs are getting, well, long. Sunday morning saw us out and about in a frosty winter wonderland running 20kms along the dykes of Pitt Meadows. There is nothing like scenery to take your mind off aching feet/knees/calves/bits you didn't know you had, so we will be heading out to do this one again. An additional motivation is the Italian deli in Maple Ridge on the way home that makes the best frittelle (Italian doughnuts) ever. Most things taste good after a 20k run but these were truly outstanding.

Merry Christmas!
I haven't been taking any photos of late, so here is an old one of my Dad and me making a very dapper snowman in Ortonville, Minnesota, Christmas 1980. I remember the dog was called Charlie and he was very impressed.
